New HTPC in the works (The hardware – part 2)

Well, what do you know! I forgot to list up some of the hardware. So here it is..

The fans:

The nice thing about this fan is that it got the PWM-connection. And the motherboard I ordered just happends to have two fan-headers both with PWM (4pin)
I’m going to replace the to fans that’s delivered with the Fusion since the word out on the streets tells me they’re no good.. ..well, they are not bad, they’re just a bit on the noisy side when it comes to being “whisper-quiet”  They will be put to good use thou, I’m going to shift some components around in my other PC’s when I’m done putting this together..

I bought this a few weeks ago, and I got it working in MediaPortal.. ..sort off. The picture lags and stutter, and I don’t know exactly where the problem lies. Either it’s hardware, or maybe reseption? We’ll see on the new PC if it works better, or else I have to find an alternative, and that probably going to be a dual tuner PCI card or something the likes. On the bright side, a MCE-remote, IR-reciever and IR-blaster was included in the package and I got it for almost half the prize, so it’s not a complete waste..

I think that should cover it..
